要旨

In this seminar, I will discuss two aspects of the contractility of actomyosin networks in the early C. elegans embryo: temporal dynamics and structural organization.
In biological systems, signaling networks propagate and shape extracellular and intracellular inputs. Using single-molecule microscopy, I will show, quantitatively, how the dynamic range of myosin recruitment is tuned by an upstream cascade. Using super-resolution microscopy and single-molecule microscopy, I will then show that how network architecture contributes to actomyosin contractility in the early C. elegans embryo.
