2020.10.26 Prizes / Press Releases Dr. NAKAMURA Shuhei selected as an International Catalyst Award Winner

Dr. NAKAMURA Shuhei (Yoshimori Lab) was selected as an International Catalyst Award Winner for his project, “Identification of Novel Lipid Species Generated by Autophagy that Promote Longevity.”
These awards are given as part of the Healthy Longevity Global Grand Challenge (HLGC), founded by the U.S. National Academy of Medicine (NAM).

This grand challenge consists of three phases, with Dr. NAKAMURA being given the Catalyst Award as part of the first phase, the “Catalyst Phase” of the Healthy Longevity Global Competition, for innovative ideas that contribute to the realization of healthy longevity that could extend the human life span through disease prevention, mobility, functionality, and social connectedness, among other factors.

The Announcement of the International Catalyst Award Winners of the Healthy Longevity Global Competition was held online 15 Oct 2020.
