2020.4.14 Announcements Regarding measures against COVID-19

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Osaka Prefectural Government has requested that educational facilities and other businesses in the prefecture, including universities, be to closed from April 14 until May 6.

In response to this, Osaka University has established a set of standards for its activities, and from April 14, activities will be conducted at the following levels of the standards.

(Listed only those regarding to student activities)

• Lessons will be conducted by using various types of online media.
• Undergraduate students are prohibited from entering the campus. Graduate students in Ph.D. and master's programs are basically prohibited from entering the campus. Only Ph.D. students engaged in urgent experiments and research are permitted to enter the campus.
• All extracurricular activities are suspended.
