Unveiling the developmental origin of stem cell-based homeostatic system by multi-omics analysis
The basis of the homeostatic system of tissue stem cells is generated during morphogenesis and is thought to be inherited after birth; however, how and when the homeostatic system is established is still unclear. Using skin and hair follicles as models, our laboratory will focus on how stem cell-based homeostatic system emerge during development, with the aim of developing new technologies to apply our results in research and medical applications in the future. In this seminar, we would like to introduce our ongoing research project and future research plans.
