Development of vaccine adjuvants using polymeric nanoparticles

There are more than 50 clinical trials worldwide testing potential vaccines, known as candidates, against COVID-19. Many of the vaccines currently in development are based on recombinant proteins, synthetic peptides, DNA, and RNA. However, these antigens are often poorly immunogenic, and thus require the use of adjuvants and delivery systems to induce optimal immune responses. Polymeric nanoparticles with function as vaccine delivery systems and immunostimulants are useful for development of effective vaccine systems. In this presentation, we will introduce development and practical application of vaccine adjuvants using our developed polymeric nanoparticles with safety and efficacy.
