We held a welcome party for the international students who joined us in April. This event was organized to help all participating students build connections beyond the boundaries of their labs and academic years. This time, over 40 people attended.
- The party has started! Hosted by the advisor for international students, who always warmly supports them.
- First, the Dean delivered a message to the new students.
- Next, a message was given by a professor who has long supported international students.
- Introduction of today‘s main guests, new students!
- Next up, the icebreaker! This time, we played a game called "Paper Tower."
- First, they had a 5-minute strategy meeting.
- Everyone put their heads together to make a plan.
- From this point, they had to build the tower in 10 minutes!
- It is a challenging mission to build a freestanding tower using only paper.
- Despite that, such a tall tower was built!
- Time to measure!
- Here is the winning team's creation—so tall that they’d need to stand on a chair to reach the top!
- Free time started!
- This time, we had a cotton candy machine!
- The enjoyable time flew by. We hope this event served as a catalyst for expanding everyone’s circle of friends!
