About the Lab
Our laboratory is located at the University of Osaka, Japan. We study "chromosome segregation". To elucidate how chromosomes are segregated into daughter cells, we take multidisciplinary approaches including molecular genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, structural biology, and genome biology. All members of our laboratory are trying to contribute to the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of chromosome segregation.
The University of Osaka is one of the top universities in Japan. There are many good facilities in our department, and you can do any experiments you want. In addition, you can mix with other labs to discuss your research. Therefore, you can enjoy science under good conditions here. To develop scientific activities in the lab, young talented person must join the lab. We are always looking for enthusiastic postdocs and graduate students.
If you are interested in our research and would like to join our lab, please contact to Prof. Fukagawa (fukagawa.tatsuo.fbsosaka-u.ac.jp).
