The Young Researchers' Retreat (YRR) is an annual event organized, conducted and participated by graduate students and young researchers of Osaka University with the aim of promoting their research and future collaborations. The YYR is a highlight event of the Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences (FBS) for promoting innovation by its young researchers, with this year being the 8th.

We encourage all prospective participants to aim for greater heights in their respective fields of research by creating “OMOROI” (i.e. exciting) ideas for potential collaborations. We have prepared a series of programs suitable to this theme. We also have invited overseas researchers to participate. Let us all aspire for “OMOROI” research through active scientific discussion at the 8th YYR.
