About us

Our laboratory is in Osaka University,Osaka, Japan. We are studying on “chromosome segregation”. To clarify how chromosomes are segregated into daughter cells, we are taking multidisciplinary approaches including molecular genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, structural biology, and mouse genetics. All members in our lab are trying to contribute to understating of molecular mechanisms for chromosome segregation.

Osaka University is one of top Universiteis in Japan. There are many good facilities and you can perform any experiments you want to do. In addition, you can mix with other labs to discuss about your research. Therefore, you can enjoy science under good circumstance here. To develop scientific activities in the lab, young talented person must join the lab. We are looking for enthusiastic postdocs and graduate students at anytime.

If you are interested in our research and you want to join our lab, please contact to Prof. Fukagawa (tfukagawa@fbs.osaka-u.ac.jp).
