Professor
Hiroshi Sasaki, Ph.D.

Dr. Sasaki graduated from the University of Tokyo, and received the Ph.D. from the same University in 1990. He performed his postdoctoral training in Brigid Hogan’s laboratory at the Vanderbilt University (U.S.A.), where he started researches on mouse embryogenesis. After returning to Japan, he became an assistant professor of Hisato Kondoh’s laboratory at Osaka University, and then, in 2002, he started his own laboratory at RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology (Kobe). In 2010, he moved to the Kumamoto University as a professor of the Institute of Molecular Embryology and Genetics. Since 2015, he has been a professor of the Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University.
