Please tell us about the research theme you are currently working on.

My research focuses on developing a surface plasmon sensor system based on Fano resonance induced by SF11/Ag/SiO2/TiO2 multilayer structure for ultra-sensitive detection of intermolecular interactions, with a particular focus on IgG and anti-IgG binding.

Were there any noticeable changes or surprises between your pre-enrollment expectations and the reality after joining FBS?

I found the level of autonomy in the experiments was quite different from what I had expected. I need to plan experiments myself and adjust the schedule based on the results, which can help me grow into an independent researcher.

What do you find appealing or positive about FBS?

FBS offers many opportunities to meet students from other labs through events such as the FBS colloquia, the FBS Retreat, and the FBS Annual Get-Together, which help us make new friends and broaden our perspective.

Is there a key point you'd like to convey to those aiming for FBS – something that sets FBS apart?

FBS supports cutting-edge, cross-field research and gives students a lot of freedom. You can explore your interests and shape your own scientific direction here.

Please share a message for the incoming students.

Welcome to FBS! Don’t be afraid to try new things and ask questions. You will meet many kind and inspiring people here. I hope you enjoy your research life and grow step by step.
