What I learned at FBS

How do you picture life as a graduate school student?
Let me tell you why I was so happy to study at FBS. For one thing, it has an environment that allowed me to freely and thoroughly research my interest, cancer immunology, and when I got stuck, there were so many motivated and supportive people inside my lab and around FBS to help me! Another thing that made me glad to study at FBS was being able to meet others who were open to collaboration. Before entering the university, I was worried that there wouldn’t be much interaction or conversations between labs. But I made supportive friends with whom I could discuss research issues and sometimes party with.
I also participated in the Young Meeting for Cell Biology where I had the opportunity to exchange ideas regarding research.
Currently, I am working at Panasonic in their HOME IoT division to fulfill the dream I had since I was a student: to make people healthier in their daily lives. There, I’m also able to apply ways to see broad perspectives and the vertical and horizontal cooperation styles I learned while researching at FBS.
How about paying a visit to the Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences to see the kind of fulfilling research you could do there?
