Laboratory of Building Block Science(Prof. Mitsuru Akashi)

What made you interested in your current research theme?

A. Originally, I was interested in robots, but when deciding which graduate school to enter, I learned of the disciplines called regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, which explores rebuilding the human body using cells. The more I learned about these disciplines, the more I became interested in biosciences.
