Entrance examination for five year Ph.D. program

Detailed information about the exam is usually available in April of the previous year. The entrance exam consists of English and oral components. For the English component, applicants should arrange and take the TOEIC, TOEFL or IELTS. This is to be done before the day of the entrance exam. Please note that the TOEIC IP or TOEFL-ITP and IELTS (General Training Module) test is not valid. We recommend applicants to register for either test as early as possible because of limited locations and dates of the examination. Again, this is the applicant’s responsibility. For applicants who live abroad, the oral exam by Skype is available.
