We held a Welcome Party for newly enrolled international students. The purpose of this event is to foster exchange beyond the confines of laboratories and academic years for all participating students. This time, we had a significant turnout with many new students, totaling nearly 70 participants.
- Before the party begins, the staff always feel a mix of excitement and nerves, wondering, "Will many people come?" and "Will everyone enjoy themselves?"
- The party has started! First, we introduced both current and former advisors for international students. They always warmly support our international students.

- With heartfelt welcome to the new students, we all raised our (air) glasses and cheered together!
- Before we began a game…
- Each team introduced themselves to each other to enhance teamwork.
- The game we prepared was the "Paper Tower Competition"! The rules are simple: The team that builds the tallest tower using only paper, without any tools, wins.
- Then a five-minute strategy meeting.
- Everybody was super focused!
- Some teams created blueprints before starting their construction.
- Start building the tower from here!
- They had just 5 minutes!
- Everyone is proceeding with construction carefully and swiftly.
- As the game progresses, the tension eases, and smiles brighten up the atmosphere!
- The tower was gradually stacking up.
- The paper tower is susceptible to even the slightest breeze or movement. Until the time limit expires, everyone watches over it to prevent it from collapsing.
- Finally, we measured the height and announced the results!
- Here's the winning team's creation! An impressive 185cm tall!
- Free time started! We prepared general, Muslim-friendly, and vegetarian menus to ensure that all participants could enjoy themselves.
- Every table was buzzing with conversation.
- Did everyone have a good time? Here's hoping this event becomes a catalyst for expanding everyone's circle of friends!
