About FBS YRR 2012
Young Researchers’ Retreat (YRR) is an event set up, conducted and participated by graduate students and young researchers of FBS on their own initiative with the aim of promoting their own progress in research and the prospect of future fusion of different fields and collaboration. This is one of the advocacies of the FBS in promoting innovation through exchanges in scientific research.
This marks the 6th year of YRR. For this year’s theme: “Scientific Breakthrough by Young Researchers”, we would like to encourage all prospective participants to go an extra mile to achieve greater heights in their respective fields of research. Only through hardwork, dedication, perseverance, collective efforts and open-communication our unwavering way to progress can be achieved. This retreat will also help everyone in promoting and infusing “OMOROI (that is exciting)” ideas in their respective research through generous exchange of scientific insights and collaboration. We prepared series of programs suitable to the theme. We also have invited outside students and/or young researchers coming from Nagoya University and overseas to participate. We have a diverse set of participants for this year from different scientific backgrounds and cultures. Let us all aspire “OMOROI” research through active discussion and grow more through this fruitful experience. We, your committee members are really looking forward to your participation.
