My five years at FBS were days spent constantly engaging with what I found "exciting."
FBS brings together laboratories from various fields and students with diverse backgrounds. I would have heated discussions about data and papers with my peers, or casually drop into seminars that caught my eye... Through these daily experiences, I was able to gather all kinds of ideas to pour into my research.
Of course, because it is research, there were times when results didn't come and I felt discouraged. But when I looked around, I saw that everyone else was just as serious about what they found exciting. Thanks to the support of so many people, I was able to keep moving forward with a positive outlook.
I currently work as a researcher at a pharmaceutical company. Although the field is completely different from my student days, I cherish the spirit of inquiry I cultivated at FBS and find excitement in my research every day.
These are precious years to devote yourself to what you want to do, and FBS provides the perfect environment for that.
Why not come to FBS and pursue what excites you?
