Support for Researchers

Global COE support for students and young researchers

  1. Students at the 3rd year or above in the doctoral program are eligible to applying for the title of Research Assistant entitling them to approximately 900 000 yen per year.
  2. To encourage education and training in foreign counties, financial support for students and young researchers will be made available to attend foreign conferences and courses.
  3. To promote interdisciplinary research, overnight departmental retreats will be held, organized and attended by young researchers and students.
  4. Projects that incorporate various fields of research are entitled to support based on a merit application system. These projects are to be initiated by young researchers.
  5. Additional events are to be held to promote interdisciplinary research and intra-departmental collaborations.
