Title

Searching for regulatory sites by comparative genomic approach

Abstract

Identification of regulatory sites, such as transcription factor binding sites and regulatory sequences for alternative splicing, in genomic sequences is a challenging problem. The accumulation of vertebrate genomic sequences and large-scale expression data makes it possible to identify these sites. I will give a brief overview of how we have been trying to identify these sites by comparative genomic approach.
