Faculty Position in the Laboratory of KOKORO-biology, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University

  • Outline

    The laboratory of KOKORO-biology, Department of Integrated Biology, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University is studying molecular mechanisms for building complex neural networks in the brain. The current research area includes roles of clustered protocadherins for building neural network (A) and gene regulation of clustered protocadherins in the individual neurons (B). The research mainly focuses on mice. The laboratory is seeking an academic staff member who has a flexible attitude and can contribute to developing and harnessing the strength of the laboratory's research. The successful applicant will be responsible for not only conducting research but also teaching liberal arts, and other subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
