Faculty position (Assistant Professor in the Kai Lab)

The Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences (FBS), Osaka University, invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor (full-time and non-tenured) in the Kai Lab. The candidate should have research experience in the field of cell fate determination, germline biology, and/or RNA biology using any model organism. Having experiences in genetics, bioinformatics, cell biology and biochemistry would be advantageous. Successful candidate should cooperate with Prof. Kai and is expected to commit education in FBS. The position is immediately available. This appointment is for 5 years and renewable at once after evaluation.

Please submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a list of publications (distinguishing original papers and review articles), the record of funding in the past, a detailed statement of your research in the past correlating with published papers (within 1000 words), and a research plan and your teaching interests (within 1000 words). Salary shall be based on the 'Salary Regulations for National University Corporation Osaka University Limited Term Academic Staff Subject to Annual Salary System.'
