The Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences (FBS), Osaka University, invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Photophysics Laboratory (Prof. Shin-ichi Kimura). The candidate should have research experience in the field of experimental condensed-matter physics using synchrotron radiation and laser spectroscopy and we expected high achievements in this field. Successful candidate should cooperate with Prof. Kimura and is expected to commit education in FBS and also in Department of Physics, Graduate School of Science.

    Teach courses, conduct practicals, and offer research guidance on physics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

    1. Ph.D. or equivalent in related field/s is required.
    2. Specialized knowledge in physics is required.
    3. Capable of communicating in Japanese on a daily basis.
    4. English language ability sufficient to fulfill one's work duties.
