Faculty position (Associate Professor)

The Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences (FBS) and Department of Applied Physics in the School of Engineering, Osaka University, invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor in the Inouye Lab.

The candidate should have research experience in the photonics technology using an advanced optical microscopy, e.g. single molecule detection and nanotechnology based on photo-induced molecular nano-control. Successful candidate should cooperate with Prof. Yasushi Inouye, and is expected to commit education in FBS and in Department of Applied Physics in the School of Engineering. The position will be open July in 2015.

Please submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a list5 most important papers, a detailed statement of your research in the past correlating with published papers (in a sheet of A4 format), and a research plan and your teaching interests (in a sheet of A4 format). Please also provide the list of two referees with their contact addresses. All application materials should be supplied both in a printed form and an electronic form recorded on CD-ROM as PDF files.
