Abstract submission

Poster sessions are also extremely important factors for you and International YoungMito 2018 that facilitate active communication and new collaborations among meeting participants. We encourage abstracts to contain new and unpublished data. Submitted abstracts will be evaluated according to their quality. The organizing committee members will then select up to 60 abstracts for a poster presentation and 6 abstracts for a 15min short-talk presentation. Please note that your abstract can only be submitted after the registration fees have been paid completely.

How to submit

The abstracts must be submitted electronically. If you are a regular participant and would like to present your work at the meeting, please submit your abstract for the poster session via the AMARYS website by Jan. 31, 2018.

If you would like to apply for short-talk presentation, select ‘’ Poster considering short talk’’. If your abstract is selected as a short-talk, you do not need to have a poster presentation.

One poster/shot-talk presenter is eligible for only one abstract submission, but can be a co-author on other abstracts. Multiple submissions from one poster/short-talk presenter will be rejected. Space is limited up to 60 posters.

Poster presenters will have 1 min oral preview on Apr. 20 (the first day of the meeting) to activate poster sessions on the second day.

Status (short-talk/poster) of abstracts will be announced as soon as decisions have been made by the program committee (on or around March 1).

Poster presenter will be asked to provide 1 page PDF file that summarizes your work for 1 min oral preview.

Abstract Format

The abstracts must be submitted electronically as an HTML file. For submitting your abstract, the main text (within 300 words), title, names of the primary author, co-authors, and their affiliations are required. In addition, please put your head-and-shoulder portrait photograph, which will be printed in black and white and show-up in your abstract page of the meeting abstract book. Photograph should be uploaded as JPG files <10.0 MB.

Abstracts selected for poster presentations and for short-talks will be announced around March 1, 2018. Students and postdocs awarded for International YoungMito 2018 travel fellowship will also be informed around March 1, 2018.
